pst folder, delete the inbox junk and see what the resulting size is. I think most of the volume is inbox junk. Currently I'm not downloading any emails, period, so inbox only contains outdated junk I could delete. Ideally I'd like to import: current calendar with archive, no Inbox because it is all Gmail and it on the Gmail site, Contacts yes, and just current saved folders holding possibly 20 or less emails per folder but a lot of folders. Also, when I do delete emails within Outlook, I'm not sure if the reduced size of the Inbox or whatever folder I eliminate or reduce is being reflected in the total that shows up. I'm not sure how much I can eliminate but I'm just keeping important. I've been going through all the folders I have to eliminate. However, you may want to reduce the size of your active email store in emclient already if the pst file (which contains *all* of your active Outlook data) is approaching 20 Gigs! The archive.pst file should import just fine into emclient. The deeper I go with this transfer and since emClient may not be able to import that, it might be easier to just purchase the same program that these Outlook files are designed for.

Ps: I'm still debating whether I might be better off buying the annual $100 because now I see there is an archive file in the Outlook folder and I 'think' this could be the calendar archive and it is something I've had to check back to from time to time. Ok Jay no rush because I need to pick up a flash drive that is 20gb or larger, the pst file is that large. I would still put the PST file/s from the old system to a flash drive and point the import to the flash drive. I'll try to give a better answer at another time but can't at this moment. If so just copy all the PST file/s to a flash drive and plug into the new system to import. Not sure if eM Client has the ability to import a PST file but it may. This person may have the perfect answer for the second question but never sees it.ĮM Client does not use the PST format. Where not doing so causes a problem for you is that someone may have nothing else to offer to the original question and doesn't bother looking at the thread anymore. LOL! We are not at all strict about staying on-topic in a thread but, when issues are involved, it is still best to keep one actual question to a specific post. Please keep each topic to one issue as it will result in you getting better responses and will also prevent confusion within a thread. I split this from the previous thread as it is a totally different topic than the first.
